Text Effects in Photoshop





            I created the text in these pictures ussing free text effect tutorials from here: http://www.photoshoproadmap.com/Photoshop-tutorials/Text-effects/Most-recent/1/. The main tutorial I used was called "Bronze Text": http://www.photoshoproadmap.com/links/go/1472, while  incorporating a few elements here and there from the "Turquoise Metallic Text" tutorial: http://www.photoshoproadmap.com/links/go/22218, adding and changing different steps of the tutorials with my own unique twist.

            While creating this text, I learned how to create basic text on a background photo that I uploaded, how to add a dropshadow, gradient, bevel and imboss, stroke, and how to change the color and properties of these different tools, such as opacity, etc, etc.

         In order to create this, I added a new layer with a picture of an ever-so-adorable baby sloth to the body of the car, while keeping the wheels, grill, lights, windows, etc. untouched. I also kept the shinyness of the car's body showing through the sloth photo, by fading the sloth photo's opacity a bit. 

        In order  to add these blue smokey designs to the Chrysler, I created a design on a blank layer in photoshop and created this design by adding and layering different smokey brushes. Then I added the brush design o top of the body of the car, while maintianing the shinyness underneath the design.
